On 7 July 2026, Air Vice Marshal Thanan Thipawes, Director, Office of Policy and Plans, Directorate of Intelligence, received a courtesy call from Group Captain Ashish Tirkha, Indian Defence Attaché to Thailand. The meeting focused on a general exchange of views regarding regional security cooperation. Both sides reaffirmed their mutual commitment to strengthening the long-standing ties and fostering closer collaboration between the Royal Thai Air Force and the Indian Air Force, at the reception room, Foreign Affairs Division, Office of Policy and Plans, Directorate of Intelligence.
