เนื่องในโอกาสครบรอบ 76 ปี วันที่ระลึกสงครามเกาหลี ณ อณุสาวรีย์ทหารผ่านศึกเกาหลี

เอกอัครราชทูตวิสามัญผู้มีอำนาจเต็มแห่งสาธารณรัฐเกาหลี ประจำประเทศไทย เป็นเจ้าภาพ
พิธีวางพวงมาลาเนื่องในวาระครบรอบสงครามเกาหลี จัดขึ้นเพื่อรำลึกถึงวันที่ 26 มิถุนายน พ.ศ.2493 ซึ่งเป็นวันที่สงครามเกาหลีปะทุขึ้น ประเทศไทยเป็นชาติแรกในเอเชียและเป็นชาติที่สองของโลก
รองจากสหรัฐอเมริกา ที่ตอบรับมติของสหประชาชาติในการส่งกองกำลังทหารเข้าร่วมรบ
เพื่อปกป้องสาธารณรัฐเกาหลีจากการรุกรานของฝ่ายคอมมิวนิสต์ ทหารไทยได้แสดงความกล้าหาญ
ในสมรภูมิจนได้รับการยกย่องจากประชาคมโลก การร่วมพิธีในครั้งนี้จึงเป็นการแสดงความระลึกถึงวีรกรรมของทหารไทยที่พลีชีพในสมรภูมิสงครามเกาหลีและเป็นการแสดงถึงความสัมพันธ์อันดี
และมิตรภาพที่แน่นแฟ้นระหว่างทั้งสองประเทศ

On 23 June 2026, Air Vice Marshal Prasertwit Mahakant, Director, Office of Intelligence, Directorate of Intelligence, Royal Thai Air Force, as the representative of the Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Air Force, attended the Wreath-Laying Ceremony on the 76th Anniversary of the Outbreak of the Korean War Memorial Day at the Korean War Veterans Monument, 902nd Infantry Regiment, King’s Guard, The event was hosted by H.E. Mr. Park Yong Min, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Thailand.
The wreath-laying ceremony commemorating the anniversary of the Korean War was held to remember June 26, 1950, the day the war erupted. Thailand was the first nation in Asia and the second in the world, following the United States, to respond to the United Nations resolution by dispatching military forces to join the fight, defending the Republic of Korea from communist invasion. Thai soldiers demonstrated exceptional bravery on the battlefield, earning high praise from the international community.
Participating in this ceremony is a tribute to the heroic deeds of the Thai soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the Korean War, while also symbolizing the strong relations and enduring friendship between the two nations.
